FlightPath registrations are completed through Rugby Xplorer, Rugby Australia’s official registration platform. The process only takes a few minutes and allows players to be correctly registered for participation, insurance and competition requirements.


Whether you are joining us for the first time or continuing your rugby journey, follow the steps below to get started. 


What Happens Next?

Once your Rugby Xplorer registration is complete, FlightPath will confirm your place and send through the information you need for the season ahead. You will receive details about training dates, programme schedules, what to bring, player expectations and any competition information relevant to your age group.

If additional information is required, such as medical details, emergency contacts, representative history or player development information, we will let you know before the programme begins.

Our aim is to make the process simple, clear and welcoming from the moment you register.

Rugby Xplorer is used to manage player registrations, insurance, competition eligibility and important participant information across Australian rugby. Parents and guardians can create an account, link junior players and complete registration directly through the Rugby Xplorer app or website. If you are new to Rugby Xplorer, do not worry. The process is straightforward, and FlightPath can help if you are unsure which registration option to select.

Registrations for FlightPath will open in December 2026. We encourage families to register early once registrations open. Early registrations help us confirm player numbers, coaching requirements, training groups, equipment and competition planning before the season begins.

If you are new to Rugby Xplorer, create an account and complete your profile. Parents and guardians can also link junior players to their account.

No Player Left Behind

We do not want financial circumstances to prevent a player from participating or taking the next step in her rugby journey. Through the support of our sponsors and partners, FlightPath may be able to provide financial assistance to eligible players and families experiencing genuine financial difficulty. This support may also extend to players who earn representative, development or interstate opportunities where travel, accommodation or participation costs would otherwise create a barrier. If you are concerned about the cost of participation, please speak with us confidentially before registering.

Depending on age group and programme, your FlightPath registration may include access to:

Specific inclusions may vary between programmes and age groups and will be confirmed before registration opens.

Registration Fees

Registration fees for the upcoming season will be published before registrations open in December 2026.


Fees may include components set by Rugby Australia, ACT & Southern NSW Rugby Union, competition administrators and other applicable rugby bodies.


FlightPath is a not-for-profit organisation. Where FlightPath collects programme-related fees, those funds are reinvested into player development, coaching, equipment, competitions and pathway opportunities.

Players must be appropriately registered before participating in activities where registration is required for Rugby Australia insurance or competition purposes.
