Girls Rugby Pathway: About FlightPath Rugby

FlightPath Rugby Union Canberra is a not-for-profit organisation created to build a stronger, more connected pathway for girls in rugby across Canberra and the surrounding region.

We are focused on recruitment, retention, player development, culture, coaching, welfare, leadership and creating a clear transition from junior rugby into the senior women’s game.

Our structure is designed to support players for the long term, with clear governance, qualified coaches, strong safeguarding standards and transparent policies.

Our Purpose

To create a sustainable rugby pathway where girls can develop, belong and progress from U13 through to senior women’s rugby.

Our People

FlightPath is supported by a volunteer Committee, qualified coaches, managers and contributors who share a commitment to player development and welfare.

Our Standards

We operate with clear policies, safeguarding requirements and governance processes designed to protect players, support families and maintain high standards across every programme.

Documents & Policies

Transparency, good governance and player welfare are central to FlightPath. Our key documents, including our Constitution, governance information, annual reports and policies, set clear standards for how the organisation operates and how players are supported. These policies cover safeguarding, conduct, communication, travel, media, complaints, injury management, concussion, first aid and coach-player boundaries, helping create a safe, respectful and accountable environment for everyone involved in FlightPath.
